Lewis “Skillz” Ramsey grew up in Downtown Brooklyn, where his passion for barbering was sparked by a legendary neighborhood barber known for his flawless fades, sharp line-ups, and warm, welcoming shop. Inspired by that craftsmanship and community spirit, Lewis picked up his first pair of clippers in 2002. Over two decades later, he has built House of Skillz into one of Bed-Stuy’s most respected barbershops.
